Configuration Management Business Operational Support for Conformity & Attestation

Job Description :

Within the Configuration Management CoC, the department 1ZCD is in charge of three processes : Product Offer, Special Instructions and Conformity & Attestation (C&A).

You will join the Airbus India configuration management team working closely with 1ZCD team, responsible for the Conformity and Attestation process MP.AC.05. The purpose of this process is to demonstrate that aircraft (and sub components) produced are fully compliant with their applicable definition.

Your mission is to accompany Conformity & Attestation process operators from FAL’s (final assembly line) & Plants in their day 2 day activities to secure Aircraft and CA delivery milestones. You will work in close collaboration with the “CM Functional architects” responsible for Process, Methods and Tools.

The scope of the job is cross-program, trans-national, and trans-functional (Engineering, Program, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Services…).

The main responsibilities of the role can be summarized as follows :

Support our business operators with Aircraft, Sections and CA deliveries

Manage incidents linked to our C&A process, tools and interfaces

Deal with critical situations in case Aircraft milestones are impacted

Validate user access requests and support in case of issues

Launch root cause analysis and continuous improvement actions (using SAFe / Agile methodologies)

Provide Coaching session to operators

Capitalize and share knowledge via creation of knowledge-articles

Run KPI’s on activity and process performance

IT-Knowledge (preferred SAP tool and infrastructure)

Configuration Conformity community, Engineering Community for all Airbus commercial programs : around 5000 persons impacted in Airbus, in direct contact with more than 500 persons.

Interactions with Airbus extended enterprise (more than 100 suppliers)

Around 300 Incidents have to be managed monthly by the team
