About the Role :

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Risk Manager to join our team.
  • As a Financial Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in assessing, monitoring, and mitigating financial risks across the organization.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and minimizing potential losses.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize financial risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential losses.
  • Monitor key risk indicators and early warning signals.
  • Review and update risk management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including Basel III, IFRS 9, and local regulations.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and their impact on the organization.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities and internal audit teams.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including risk reports and regulatory filings.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Lead and manage risk-related projects, such as implementing new risk management systems or processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and regulatory authorities.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Required Skills and Master's degree from a reputable university.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in banking, with a strong focus on risk management.
  • Proven track record in risk management, project implementation, and business analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and data analysis capabilities.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment techniques.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk management standards.
  • Experience with risk management systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
