Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Doctor Engagement & Prescription Generation :
  • Regularly meet targeted healthcare professionals (HCPs) as per company’s MSL (Master Sales List).
  • Conduct effective product detailing to drive prescriptions.
  • Ensure daily doctor call average and frequency as per company norms.
  • Retail & Chemist Engagement :
  • Ensure availability of products at retail counters through consistent chemist visits.
  • Address issues related to stock availability and prescription conversion at the retail level.
  • Sales Achievement :
  • Achieve primary and secondary sales targets for assigned territory.
  • Monitor and improve product-wise sales performance.
  • Reporting & Documentation :
  • Submit timely and accurate reports through the company’s sales force automation tools (e.g., SWAAS).
  • Prepare and maintain doctor lists, beat plans, tour plans, and daily call reports.
  • Market Intelligence & Feedback :
  • Collect and report competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Share doctor and chemist feedback on products and marketing initiatives.
  • Campaign Execution :
  • Execute marketing campaigns and scientific initiatives effectively.
  • Distribute samples and promotional inputs as per Sample Distribution Plan (SDP).
  • Compliance & Ethics :
  • Adhere to company’s code of conduct, compliance norms, and reporting standards.
  • Ensure ethical promotion and brand representation at all levels.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Education : B.Sc / B.Pharm / Any Graduate (Life Science preferred)
  • Experience : 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical field sales (Freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered)
  • Skills Required :

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of human anatomy & pharmacology (preferred)
  • Target-driven with ability to work independently
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reporting tools
