Freelancer - Advanced EV Systems & Dynamics Specialist

Role Description

This is a part-time role for a Freelancer - Advanced EV Systems & Dynamics Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for comprehensive training delivery related to advanced electric vehicle systems and dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and focus on modules covering EV component architecture (battery pack, BMS - Hardware / Software, traction inverter, motor, DC–DC converter, OBC) and their performance metrics

2. Electrochemical : cell voltage, state-of-charge / health estimation, thermal effects on battery performance, and battery recycling / safety

3. Focus on power-electronics : inverter and converter topologies, regenerative-braking control, and real-world case studies

4. Advanced motor control strategies (FOC, D-Q analysis), performance curves, and E-Axle system design, including thermal management for motors

5. Chargers and Drive train components

6. Relevant simulations (MATLAB / Simulink) and industry case studies to reinforce learning outcomes

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in Electric Vehicle Systems.
• Expertise in Vehicle Dynamics.
• Experience in Automotive Engineering.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven expertise in EV battery technologies, power electronics, and electric-machine control.
• Strong capability with simulation tools (MATLAB / Simulink) and practical lab setups.
