Key Responsibilities :

System Configuration & Implementation :

  • Lead and manage the configuration and implementation of SAP PP modules, covering areas such as Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Orders, Capacity Planning, Work Centers, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, WM, and FICO.
  • Handle end-to-end implementation of SAP PP solutions, from gathering business requirements to post implementation support.

Business Process Analysis & Optimization :

  • Conduct detailed analysis of manufacturing processes, identify business needs, and translate them into SAP PP solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for SAP PP implementation and suggest process improvements to optimize production and planning activities.

    • Customization & Enhancements :

  • Customize and configure SAP PP based on business requirements, ensuring it aligns with production planning and scheduling needs.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize system performance to improve manufacturing and planning processes.

    • Integration with Other Modules :

  • Ensure smooth integration between SAP PP and other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), WM (Warehouse Management), and FICO (Financial Accounting).
  • Work closely with functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues.

    • User Training & Support :

  • Conduct training sessions for end users, ensuring effective utilization of SAP PP functionality.
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for SAP PP issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system efficiency.

    • Testing & Documentation :

  • Develop test cases, conduct unit and integration testing, and ensure the system meets the business requirements.
  • Document all configurations, processes, and workflows, ensuring clarity for both internal teams and end users.

    • System Maintenance & Upgrades :

  • Support ongoing system maintenance, patches, upgrades, and ensure that the SAP PP system is running optimally.
  • Monitor system performance, address any issues, and ensure smooth system updates or enhancements.

    • Project Management & Collaboration :

  • Lead SAP PP-related projects, working with project managers, business analysts, and other consultants to ensure timely delivery of the project.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that SAP PP solutions meet business goals and improve production planning processes.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications :

    Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP PP, including full implementation lifecycle experience.
  • Solid experience in configuring and supporting SAP PP modules such as Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Orders, Capacity Planning, BOM, and Work Centers.

    • Technical Skills :

  • Expertise in SAP PP module and strong understanding of its integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, WM, and FICO.
  • In-depth knowledge of production planning processes, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience with SAP S / 4HANA is a plus.
  • Familiarity with advanced topics such as MRP strategies, planning strategies, and APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization).

    • Soft Skills :

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong presentation and training skills to guide end users effectively.

    • Certifications :

  • SAP PP certification is highly preferred but not mandatory.

    • Desirable Skills :

  • Experience with SAP S / 4HANA, specifically in relation to the PP module.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori and other modern SAP tools for production and planning management.
  • Experience with SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) or other third-party planning systems.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific production environments (e.g., discrete manufacturing, process manufacturing, etc.)

    • Education :

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant SAP PP certification is a plus
