About the Job

Shooting Stars Foundation is a NGO focused on education with the belief that we can break the cycle of poverty through education. Currently we educate about 1200 scholars in India in the fields of STEM / Engineering / Medicine / Finance. We have a distinctive confidence building / mentorship program that focuses on a holistic approach for the betterment of a student’s life rather than just helping financially.

Position Title : Junior Program Associate

Full Time ( 40 Hours a week )

Remuneration Rs 15,000 - 18,000 per month (depending on experience)

Location : Preferred Chennai / Bangalore / Coimbatore - Remote will be considered in some cases

Availability - Monday to Friday (2 Hours in the evening availability) ; Some Weekend availability needed for training coordination

Responsibilities

1.   Help with scholar journey process process end to end.

  • Help wuth donor journey process end to end
  • Help with STEM Programs as needed
  • Help with any adhoc projects needed for the organization

Requirements

  • Passion for community service, especially in the field of education
  • Degree holder – Arts / Social Work / Engineering / Management
  • Excellent Detail orientedness and project management skills
  • Excellent English language skills – both written and spoken – proficient in other languages in India is an advantage
  • Good communication skills to maintain relationships with members of the organization and respond to their requests regularly.
  • Working knowledge of Google Drive / Excel / Word / Email etc
  • Own a laptop or system at home with internet connection - Online work / Telephone work etc
  • Total 40 hours a week - Included - Monday to Friday (2 Hours in the evening availability) ; Some Weekend availability needed for training coordination
