Role Overview : Do you have experience in diamond buying and quality control within the diamond industry? Unbridaled Diamonds is seeking a skilled Diamond buyer and Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Mumbai. This role focuses on sourcing and purchasing diamonds, performing quality checks, managing supplier relationships, and supporting pricing strategies to ensure we remain competitive.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Diamond Buying and Supplier Management :

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, both domestically and internationally, to find the best sources for diamonds.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability, competitive pricing, and consistent quality.
Assist in sourcing diamonds for special orders based on specific customer requirements.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible deals while maintaining quality standards.

2. Quality Control and Assessment :

Inspect diamonds for quality, including evaluating the 4 Cs to ensure they meet the company’s standards before shipment.

Identify and address any quality issues with daily orders, coordinating with the operation team for replacements if needed.

Conduct a 100% quality check on every diamond to to meet accuracy and standards.

4. Pricing and Market Analysis :

Assist in pricing strategy development to maximize profitability and ensure competitiveness.

Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to provide recommendations for dynamic pricing adjustments.

Requirements :

In-depth knowledge of diamond grading, cutting, and quality assessment.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in diamond buying and quality control.

Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Experience in pricing strategy development and market analysis preferred.

Fluency in Gujarati is required.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
