Gardener

A gardeners job is to maintain design and care for gardens and

landscapes. They plant water prune and weed and ensure that plants

are healthy. Gardeners may also design outdoor spaces manage pests

and collaborate with landscaping teams.

Responsibilities

Plant care : Plant water prune and fertilize plants shrubs and trees

Maintenance : Mow lawns trim shrubs and plants and remove weeds

Pest management : Identify and treat pest problems

Design : Create garden layouts rock gardens decks ponds and

pathways

Safety : Ensure a safe work environment by following safety and health

regulations

Communication : Share information about plant care with others

Problemsolving : Use problemsolving and decisionmaking skills to

address gardening issues

Equipment operation : Use gardening tools like lawnmowers chainsaws

and pruning saws

Tool organization : Maintain gardening tools like hoes pitchforks and

shovels

Reporting : Report to management on the condition of the garden
