ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced eCommerce Solution Architect with primary expertise in Adobe Commerce to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing innovative eCommerce solutions using Adobe Commerce and other eCommerce platforms to meet our clients' business needs.

Responsibilities :

  • Design end-to-end eCommerce architectures, including system integrations, customizations, and extensions, to deliver scalable and high-performing eCommerce solutions.
  • Design and architect headless eCommerce architectures, API-driven solutions, and microservices-based architectures, ensuring decoupling of frontend and backend layers for increased flexibility and scalability.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Adobe Commerce platform.
  • Lead the technical implementation of Adobe Commerce projects, including customization of themes, development of custom modules, and integration with third-party systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure quality assurance processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in eCommerce and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our offerings.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and other integration technologies.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or similar role, with a focus on Adobe Commerce platform.
  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Commerce platform architecture, features, and capabilities.
  • Strong expertise in PHP development and experience with Magento development frameworks and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js.
  • Experience with integrating Adobe Commerce with ERP, CRM, PIM, and other enterprise systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about complex technical challenges.
  • Adobe Commerce Architect certification(s) preferred.

    • Qualifications

    15+ years overall experience and 5+ years development experience using any eCommerce solution.

    3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce

    Knowledge of other SaaS based commerce solutions such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce, commercetools, etc.

    Great business analysis skills with architecture and implementation experience

    Requirement analysis, conceptual, logical, and detailed design skills

    Functional understanding of customer journey

    Understanding of technology blocks of digital marketing ecosystem and ability to define scalable platform approach.

    Desirable skills

    Having experience in B2C and B2B eCommerce implementations

    Experience of leading discovery workshops

    Experience with software design patterns is advantageous.

    Agile Development Methodology experience is advantageous.
