Role Summary
A2SV (Africa to Silicon Valley) is Africa’s leading tech academy and incubator, having trained over 800 students from 20 African countries thus far. We have received 60+ job offers from top companies like Google, Amazon, Bloomberg, and Palantir. Additionally, we host the largest tech competition in Africa , reaching innovators from 48 countries. As such, we are seeking a driven Talent Placement Specialist to help connect A2SV's high-caliber talent with global opportunities. As Africa’s leading tech academy and incubator, A2SV offers a unique chance to place top-tier developers with world-class companies. This role involves identifying and cultivating relationships with companies hiring technical talent (clients) and placing A2SV-trained developers at these firms . The talent specialist role is fully commission-based and will earn a 20% commission , based on the revenue A2SV generates from each placement for the first 3 months. For example, placing someone at $4K / month will earn you $2.4K over 3 months.

Key Responsibilities
Source and close clients, i.e. companies in need of technical talent.Place top software engineers from A2SV’s elite talent pool at the world's leading tech companies.Build and maintain strong relationships with global tech companies to nurture hiring partnerships.Earn a 20% commission from the revenue generated over the first 3 months of each placement.Provide regular updates on placement and hiring partnerships progress to A2SV leadership.What You Bring
Ability and experience in recruiting / staffing business development, selling staffing solutions, etc.Experience in talent placement, acquisition, or a related field (as an external, agency, RPO, or freelance recruiter).Strong networking and relationship-building skills.Knowledge of the tech industry and its hiring needs.Self-motivation and excellent time management.Passion for creating global opportunities for African tech talent.Why Join A2SV?
