Lam Research is a leading global manufacturer of capital equipment used in making leading-edge-semiconductors across the world. We primarily compete in four specific areas – Deposition, Etch, Photoresist strip, and Single wafer clean.
Many years back, Lam Research embarked on a journey to set up engineering center in Bangalore to expand its reach to Indian talent pool. Over the decade, this center expanded its capability and scope beyond hardware and software engineering to global manufacturing, supply chain operations and other shared services. One of the major functional groups of this entity is LIGHT (Lam India Global Hardware Technology). LIGHT has completed more than a decade of growth and has emerged as a major new product development and sustaining engineering team for Lam’s global engineering footprint.
Technical Program Management (TPM) Team is a centralized team at LIGHT. The charter of the group is to implement & drive initiatives that enable technical and business process innovations for Lam. Technical Program Manager will collaborate with different product groups within LIGHT organization and global stakeholders to manage all aspects of technical program management including initiating programs, tracking, reporting progress and actively collaborating with teams to implement solutions. This position is for the TPM team in Bangalore, working collaboratively with Engineering teams and Product Groups across different regions.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer / supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer / supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
