As part of our software engineering group in Product and Technology, you will join our senior leadership team to achieve two objectives. 1. drive the innovation and delivery of one of our technology portfolios and 2. Help us lead this next phase of growth into our India centres.
What is the focus of the role?
The VP of Software Products Fulfillment Supply Chain and Logistics plays a critical role in partnering across the organisation to deliver and operate reusable, Fulfillment Supply Chain and Logistics software that enable Product, Customer and Operational Experience teams to consistently understand, reach and support customers. This role will lead the development of Fulfillment Supply Chain and Logistics solutions. You will progressively build original Telstra software products reducing our reliance on commercial off the shelf software over time.
In our India Centres you will be a key member of the Software Engineering and IT leadership team and take accountability for our team growth in India.
Key Responsibilities
VP of Software Products will lead a collection of product engineering teams with several specific product lines to develop, deliver & maintain clear roadmapsEstablish and set priorities within the product group and ensure coordination and alignment between other groups and organisational constructs through the Quarterly planning process.Act as a thought leader on market trends, innovations, and disruptions in respect to the Fulfillment Supply Chain and Logistics Group portfolio.Help grow our engineering team in India, attract, recruit and retain engineering talent and ensure we consistently maintain high engineering standards.In collaboration with the Chapter Area, define the skills and capabilities required to deliver on the current objectives as well into the future, contributing to workforce strategy.About you
We're looking for someone who…
Substantial experience in software engineering. Ideally in a product engineering environment or a related field.Proven track record of product engineering ways of working.Leading and managing large software teams in complex, fast-paced environment.Some level of knowledge of Fulfillment Supply Chain and Logistics or related FMCG applicationsProven experience in Agile methodologies / ways of workingDemonstrated ability to accelerate change, drive speed, and agility, fostering a culture of innovation.Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.Effective communication and influencing skills, both verbal and written.Ability to develop and execute strategies that enhance operational efficiency.If you are passionate to succeed as part of an agile and experienced software product team, we welcome you to apply!
