THE ROLE As an AI Research Engineer, you will contribute to groundbreaking AI initiatives that span internal operations, client solutions, and cutting-edge research. You'll design and implement AI models and systems that solve real business problems, conduct research in strategic domains, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Applied Research & Experimentation Explore emerging AI techniques and assess their relevance to real-world problems and internal initiatives. Conduct literature reviews, benchmark algorithms, and contribute to team discussions with research insights. Assist in building and testing early-stage prototypes and proof-of-concept models. AI Solution Engineering Support the development and integration of AI components across tools, systems, and services. Contribute to data preparation, model training workflows, and performance evaluation. Help implement scalable and reusable code while following best practices in collaboration and version control. Model Training & Evaluation Participate in training, testing, and fine-tuning models using prepared datasets. Monitor experiment results, analyze model behavior, and identify potential improvements. Assist in setting up metrics dashboards and performance monitoring tools. Collaboration & Documentation Maintain detailed, well-organized documentation of research experiments, data pipelines, and findings. Engage in code reviews, planning sessions, and cross-functional knowledge-sharing activities.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI / ML research and development Strong foundation in machine learning fundamentals and algorithms Proficiency in Python and relevant AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, etc.) Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments Understanding of LLM technologies and their practical applications Solid software engineering skills including version control, testing, and CI / CD practices Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in AI, Machine Learning, or a related discipline Demonstrated expertise in one or more specialized AI domains (NLP, computer vision, generative AI, etc.) Experience with agent architectures, vector databases, and knowledge graphs Understanding of LLM prompt engineering principles and fine-tuning techniques Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies Contributions to open-source projects or research publications Understanding of MLOps practices and tools for model deployment and monitoring Knowledge of data privacy considerations and ethical AI implementation Experience with AI observability tools and performance monitoring
