Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 2 years of accounting experience with hands-on exposure to ERP systems. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and reporting. Experience in ERP functional testing, issue tracking, and user support. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, and payroll operations. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Effective communication skills to liaise between finance, manufacturing, payroll teams, and technical resources. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho Books, Quickbooks, or Odoo is preferred. Part-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional accounting certification. Experience supporting ERP accounting and finance modules in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to payroll module integration and related data flows. Prior involvement in ERP implementation, testing, or upgrade projects.
Job Summary
We are looking for an accounting professional to provide functional support and testing
for the Accounting and Finance modules of our ERP system. The role involves
ensuring smooth operation, accurate financial data flow, and effective integration with
other modules, including manufacturing and payroll. The ideal candidate will have
strong accounting knowledge combined with ERP functional expertise to support
business processes and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day functional support and troubleshooting for the ERP Accounting and Finance modules.
- Conduct functional testing and validation of ERP features related to accounting processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with finance, IT, manufacturing, and HR / payroll teams to understand requirements, identify gaps, and implement ERP solutions.
- Assist in integration testing between accounting / finance modules and other ERP modules, especially manufacturing and payroll, ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment.
- Support reconciliation of manufacturing costs and inventory valuation with accounting records within the ERP.
- Help validate payroll data integration with the finance module to ensure accurate expense recognition and compliance.
- Document and communicate functional issues, test cases, and resolutions clearly to technical teams.
- Support ERP configuration changes, upgrades, and process improvements related to accounting, manufacturing cost accounting, and payroll integration.
- Provide training and user support to ensure effective adoption of ERP functionalities across accounting, manufacturing, and payroll users.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and payroll regulations within the ERP system.
- Participate in ERP implementation, upgrade, and process improvement projects, focusing on accounting, manufacturing cost flows, and payroll data accuracy.
- Monitor ERP performance and data accuracy in financial transactions, manufacturing cost accounting, and payroll reporting.
