Function : CS → AdOps → AdOps Team Lead
As an Ad Ops Team Lead for AdPushup, you are the strongest technical advocate in this organisation. Your role will primarily involve account optimisation & technical troubleshooting, team management, and client success. You will create a knowledge base and design a system to ensure the fulfilment of AdOps Team Members' requirements, in the fastest way possible.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor the AdOps team to ensure high performance, skill growth, and alignment with team goals
- Oversee management and optimization of GAM (DFP), Header Bidding, and tag-based demand partners to improve yield.
- Monitor and analyze ad performance, testing regularly to drive optimization opportunities.
- Ensure timely resolution of client issues, managing escalations and maintaining high satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain internal resources (e.g., knowledge base, canned responses) to improve support efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and engineering teams to address issues and deliver solutions.
- Track team KPIs and customer success metrics, providing regular performance updates to leadership.
- Define, monitor, and review team OKRs to drive accountability and process improvements.
- Support team members’ career growth, manage performance, and maintain high team motivation through regular 1 : 1s and transparent communication.
Must-Have Qualifications
4+ years of experience in digital advertising, preferably in ad operations or supply-side programmatic, with a background in AdTech companies, SSPs, or publisher monetization platformsSolid understanding of ad servers, especially DFP / Google Ad Manager (GAM) and their configurationStrong knowledge of ad networks such as AdSense, AdX, and Header Bidding (HB) partnersHands-on experience with Prebid.js setup, testing, and optimizationIntermediate technical skills :Understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for ad tag troubleshooting
Proficient in using Chrome Developer Tools for debugging ad delivery issues
Basic experience with team management or mentoring (e.g., leading small teams of 3-5 people or projects).Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Data-driven mindset with experience in analyzing performance data to drive optimization.Familiarity with A / B testing and interpreting results for optimization.Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Looker, BigQuery, or other ad performance / reporting toolsExposure to working with remote or global teams and cross-functional collaborationExperience working with US and EU based tier-1 pubs
