Job Opening : Key Account Manager (Automotive)

Job Type : Full Time

Job Location : Faridabad (Head Office)

Role Overview :

  • The Key Account Manager will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with key automotive accounts, particularly in the machinery and manufacturing sectors.
  • The role requires a deep understanding of the automotive supply chain, machinery, and manufacturing processes to align solutions with client needs.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing large accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key automotive clients, including OEMs and Tier 1 / 2 suppliers.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring exceptional communication and service.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling machinery and testing solutions.
  • Achieve sales targets and revenue goals through effective account management.
  • Prepare and negotiate proposals, agreements, and contracts to close sales successfully.
  • Understand clients' manufacturing processes and challenges to offer tailored testing solutions
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments and recommend suitable machinery to enhance client operations
  • Analyze trends in the automotive and manufacturing sectors to identify new business opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market developments to stay ahead of industry shifts.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and customer support teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Ensure seamless installation, training, and after-sales support in collaboration with service teams.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue potential.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics using CRM tools.
  • Provide regular reports and sales forecasts to management.
  • Required skills & In-depth knowledge of machinery and manufacturing processes in the automotive sector.

  • Proven experience in managing and expanding key accounts, particularly OEMs and suppliers.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and create strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in MS Office Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in key account management, sales, specifically in the machinery and manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing large accounts.
  • Prior experience in handling large-scale automotive clients or projects is preferred
