About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled, empathetic, and strategically-minded Senior User Experience Researcher to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving user-centered design by uncovering deep insights, identifying critical unmet needs, and shaping innovative solutions, specifically within the complex B2B business landscape.
You will lead end-to-end research initiatives that directly influence product strategy, design decisions, and feature prioritization for our clients' enterprise-level products. This position requires a seasoned researcher who can not only execute a wide range of research methodologies but also synthesize findings into compelling, actionable recommendations that lead to the creation of truly impactful and user-centric Responsibilities : Strategy & Execution :
- Plan, design, and execute a wide range of qualitative and quantitative user research methods, including but not limited to : in-depth interviews, usability testing (moderated / unmoderated), surveys, field studies, ethnographic research, concept testing, diary studies, card sorting, and tree testing.
- Specialize in understanding complex B2B user behaviors, workflows, pain points, and decision-making processes across various industry verticals.
- Conduct research specifically tailored to enterprise-level products and services, engaging effectively with business professionals, IT decision-makers, and key Generation & Analysis :
- Analyze complex research data to derive actionable insights, identify underlying user needs (both stated and unstated), pain points, and opportunities for innovation.
- Synthesize research findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives, leveraging artifacts such as user personas, journey maps, service blueprints, and mental models.
- Develop frameworks and models to describe user behavior and design & Influence :
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate research insights into actionable design recommendations and product strategies.
- Influence product roadmaps and feature prioritization by advocating for user needs, validating hypotheses, and providing data-driven insights.
- Communicate research findings effectively through engaging presentations, detailed reports, and interactive workshops to diverse & Best Practices :
- Contribute to the development, refinement, and standardization of our UX research methodologies, tools, and best practices across the organization.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of curiosity and continuous learning within the Skills & Qualifications : : Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in User Experience Research, with a demonstrable track record of impacting product development.
UX Research Expertise :
Proven expertise in designing and executing a wide array of qualitative and quantitative UX research methodologies.Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data from various sources into clear, actionable insights.Proficiency with various research tools (e.g., user testing platforms, survey tools, analytics tools, collaboration tools like Miro).B2B Domain Experience :
Demonstrable experience conducting UX research specifically within the B2B or enterprise software domain is mandatory.Understanding the nuances of business users, complex workflows, organizational structures, and decision-making processes in an enterprise & Impact :Exceptional ability to uncover deep user insights and identify unmet needs that truly drive product innovation and improve user experience.Proven track record of translating research findings into tangible product improvements and strategic & Collaboration :Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex research findings compellingly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional : Ability to work independently, manage multiple research projects simultaneously, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Design, or a closely related Skills (Plus Points) :Experience with remote research methodologies and tools.Familiarity with design thinking frameworks and agile development processes.A strong portfolio demonstrating the impact of your research on shipped B2B products or services.Experience with data visualization tools for presenting research findings.ref : hirist.tech)
