We are seeking an experienced Front-End Lead Engineer to drive the development and implementation of high-quality, scalable front-end solutions across major international projects. This role involves leading technical teams, shaping front-end architecture, and staying hands-on with development while guiding and mentoring engineers.
Responsibilities
As a Front-End Lead Engineer, you will :
- Oversee all front-end engineering aspects of projects under your responsibility.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor front-end development efforts.
- Drive task prioritization, lead technical assessments and provide estimations for front-end scopes of work.
- Support and mentor the team in front-end technical decision-making and resolving development challenges.
- Review front-end deliverables and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Assist the team in adopting modern front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and Product team to design, develop, and implement high-performance front-end solutions.
- Ensure that front-end development adheres to scalability, performance, and usability standards.
- Establish and implement front-end workflows and processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Monitor compliance with coding standards, performance benchmarks, and accessibility requirements.
- Develop support documentation, including front-end architectural principles.
- Resolve technical issues and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Provide on-call support when required.
- Collaborate with Technical Directors to find innovative front-end solutions and share knowledge.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new front-end team members.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+) fundamentalsThorough understanding of React.js and its core principlesExperience with Node.js in particular with Next.js framework and server-side / client-side rendering conceptsStrong knowledge of Tailwind CSS for building responsive and reusable user interfacesExpertise in front-end testing using JestFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches for deployment and release managementExperience with front-end build tools and module bundlersStrong understanding of performance optimization, benchmarking techniques, and best practicesHigh proficiency with GitFront-End Architecture & Code Quality
