Android Developer - Java / Kotlin

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop high-performance, reliable, and maintainable native mobile applications for Android using Kotlin, Java, and Android Studio.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI / UX designers, and backend developers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Build applications following best practices in architecture such as MVVM, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and manage efficient data exchange using JSON.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code with comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, story estimation, and retrospectives using tools such as JIRA.
• Use Git for version control and collaborate through code reviews and continuous integration tools (CI / CD) to streamline deployment pipelines.
• Work on optimizing mobile application performance, improving loading times, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development and mobile application space.
