Roles and Responsibilities
Define and drive the organizations sales plan for the Retail business division by meeting annual customer acquisition and revenue targets
- Conduct research to identify customer needs, new markets and new distribution partners
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Execute the organizations sales strategy with equal focus on topline, profitability, brand equity and customer satisfaction (internal and external)
- Conduct business meetings with prospective customers / distribution partners
- Promote the companys products / services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers / distribution partners
- Negotiate terms of agreement including but not limited to commission structures with prospective distribution partners
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to organization’s policies and guidelines
- Keep records and provide regular updates to management on sales, revenue, agreements, team productivity etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Develop and train entry level staff into valuable salespeople
- Design contest / incentive programs for the sales team
