Job Summary :

We are seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our clients team in Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the competent quality execution of purchasing duties and administrative processes, sourcing quality goods and services, and managing supplier relationships.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Execute purchasing duties and administrative processes
• Source quality goods and services for a global fleet of vessels
• Negotiate with suppliers for best purchase packages
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders
• Implement and manage third-party logistics
• Provide feedback on approved vendor performance
• Manage ESG within the supply chain
• Occasional travel required
• Continuous improvement project work
• Requirements :
• 1-2 years of experience as a Purchaser in a marine company
• Strong understanding of purchasing processes and supply chain management
• Ability to manage ESG within the supply chain
