Job Purpose : This role will work as specialist in creating written content for various platforms including websites, blogs, videos, email marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns, social media posts, infographics, whitepapers, Study materials and more. Your primary responsibility is to produce engaging, informative, and compelling content for marketing & academic delivery that aligns with the NCDOE’s goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for generating written materials such as articles, blog posts, website content, social media posts, product descriptions, newsletters, case studies, study materials and more
• Conduct thorough research to gather relevant information and insights about the assigned topic. Adept at using reliable sources, interviewing subject matter experts, and extracting valuable data to support their writing.
• Ensure all-around consistency in content creation. (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Work closely with HOD or marketing teams to develop content plans and strategies. Brainstorm ideas, outlining content calendars, and contributing to the overall content strategy of the organization.
• Familiar with using relevant keywords, meta tags, and optimizing content to improve organic search visibility and drive traffic to the company's website or platform.
• Responsible for reviewing, editing, and proofreading their own work to ensure it is error-free, well-structured, and adheres to grammar and style guidelines.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as designers, marketers, subject matter experts, and project managers.
• Proficiency in using content management systems, able to navigate and update content within CMS platforms, ensuring proper formatting, tagging, and publishing of content.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging content formats.
