About the Role :
We are seeking a visionary and execution-driven Senior Vice President of Engineering to lead our engineering function as we scale. This role is critical in shaping our product delivery, tech innovation, and team growth to meet the evolving demands of our customers and market.
The SVP will be responsible for defining the technical roadmap, driving engineering excellence, and scaling our product platform while fostering a high-performance engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities :
Technology Leadership :
- Define, own, and evolve the technical roadmap in alignment with business strategy.
- Evaluate and implement scalable architecture and engineering practices.
- Drive product innovation through technical feasibility and customer-centric design.
Team & Culture :
Lead and scale a high-performing team of engineering managers, leads, and developers.Attract, mentor, and retain top engineering talent.Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and collaboration.Execution Excellence :
Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of products and features.Implement and refine agile development processes and best practices.Oversee performance, reliability, and security of all software systems.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with Product, Design, and GTM teams to align product delivery with business goals.Act as a technical partner to the CEO / CTO / Board in key business Candidate Profile :Must-Haves :
10-15 years of total experience in software engineering, with 4+ years in senior leadership roles.Proven experience scaling engineering teams from 30 to 100+ in fast-growing product / SaaS environments.Hands-on understanding of scalable architecture, cloud-native environments (AWS / GCP), CI / CD, and microservices.Experience in building global teams and driving distributed execution.Strong Plus :
Background in enterprise SaaS, platforms, or marketplaces.Experience in Series B / C / D stage startups or fast-growth tech companies.Passion for clean code, system design, and high-quality engineering culture.Leadership Traits :
