Why work with us?
The program
The Men’s Behaviour Change Program (MBCP) is a 20-week, group-based program that invites men who use family violence to take accountability and make positive change to their behaviour. Individual Case Management (ICM) is also available to support men to become ready to enter the group program and provide additional support such as referrals for mental health and drug treatment services.
Position Purpose
The purpose of the Family Violence Practitioner role is to assist in the delivery of the MBCP. This include completing family violence assessments, facilitating group, and providing individual case management support, in collaboration with the wider community services sector.
