Job description

Job Title : SAP ABAP Development for HANA

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 4 to 10 years

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and optimize ABAP code for S / 4HANA systems.
  • Develop ODATA services for SAP Fiori / UI5 applications.
  • Build and maintain CDS Views, including analytical and transactional use cases.
  • Write and execute AUnit tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to implement AIS integrations and workflows.
  • Support and enhance BP (Business Partner) controller logic and purpose configurations.
  • Debug and troubleshoot performance issues in HANA-based ABAP programs.
  • Follow SAP best practices for code quality, modularization, and reuse.
  • Work in an Agile / Scrum environment with cross-functional collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development.
  • Strong expertise in ABAP OO.
  • Proficiency in ODATA development and SAP Gateway.
  • Experience with CDS Views (basic, parameterized, analytical).
  • Experience with ABAP Unit Testing (AUnits).
  • Familiarity with SAP AIS and associated integration patterns.
  • Good understanding of BP Controller design and business logic.
  • Experience with S / 4HANA systems and performance tuning.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • SAP Certified ABAP for HANA or SAP S / 4HANA.
  • Experience with Fiori / UI5 development is a plus.
  • Exposure to SAP BTP and CAP is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP Workflow or BRF+ is a bonus.
