Senior Windows System Administrator

What success looks like in this role :

• 6 to 8 years of experience in Windows Systems Administration
• Support large computer configurations under design in the Unisys data centers.
• Able to provide security and optimization ideas.
• Manage servers (physical and virtual) across various environments and nature. Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
• Good hands-on experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of Windows operating systems, ESXi & vCenter server environments.
• Good hands-on experience in automation / scripting PowerShell / python / etc.
• Knowledge on maintaining and managing SQL DB, cluster configurations, windows protocols and services.
• In depth knowledge on patch management, vulnerability management, and networks (including LAN and WAN)
• Good hands-on system deployments upgrades, migration, user access management, advanced troubleshooting including networks (including LAN and WAN).
• Hands-on experience on HA & DRS. [High Availability & Distributed Resource Scheduling]
• P2V, V2V, V2P migration knowledge.
• Strong knowledge on various Windows Operating System and Active Directory concepts.
• Good Understanding on DNS, DHCP, WINS.
• Windows Clustering and troubleshooting.
• Hardware knowledge on Dell server products.
• Experience in handling SRM.
• Ability to quickly analyses & diagnose technical problems (RCA).
• The individual who is a self-starter and drives end-to-end delivery, handles projects with less supervision.
• The Analyst will work with a team to support the Microsoft Windows Server and virtual environment of the customer account.
