Role Overview : As a Social Media Marketing Specialist, you will lead the creation and execution of engaging social media campaigns to grow our brand, fanbase, and community worldwide. You’ll own daily content, work with influencers, tap into global trends, and ensure our digital voice connects with cricket fans across Europe, India, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement a global social media strategy for key platforms (Instagram, X / Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
- Plan and publish daily content that builds buzz before, during, and after matches.
- Create engaging copy, coordinate graphics, reels, shorts, live streams, and match-day stories.
- Work closely with photographers, videographers, and designers to deliver fresh, on-brand creative assets.
- Monitor and analyze performance — track reach, engagement, and audience sentiment.
- Engage with fans directly : respond to comments, DMs, and leverage fan-generated content.
- Spot and activate collaborations with influencers, players, and sports content creators.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, best practices, and competitor strategies — bring innovative ideas to amplify our digital footprint.
- Coordinate with PR, sponsorship, and marketing teams to align messaging globally.
Who We’re Looking For :
4–8 years of hands-on experience managing social media for sports, entertainment, or youth brands.Solid track record of growing engagement and followers across multiple platforms.Passion for cricket and a strong grasp of global sports culture — especially T-20 and league formats.Creative storyteller with strong copywriting skills.Familiarity with social media management tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).Comfortable with basic editing of reels / shorts or working closely with creative teams.Organized, agile, and able to manage high-volume content calendars in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and spoken English.
