Applied AI Research Engineer - Data & Analytics

Mandatory skills :

• 12+ Yrs of exp with experience in deep learning, frameworks such as TensorFlow & PyTorch are mandatory. Candidates should have mathematical youll bring to the role :
• 10+ Yrs of exp. Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and machine learning specific libraries like numpy, opencv, scikit-learn, pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, etc
• Strong expertise in deep learning, its mathematical foundations, frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Hands-on understanding of transfer learning, fine-tuning of deep learning models esp. contemporary language models, speech processing models, retrieval models, etc.
• Experience with NLP and basic understanding of other AI domains like computer vision, Speech processing, reinforcement learning, etc.
• Understanding of AI / ML Lifecycle and basic understanding of systems like mlflow, Dataiku, data bricks
• Strong desire and ability to influence development teams and help them adopt :
• Benchmarking of different open / closed AI models for different AI tasks.
• Study and experiment with top research papers and associated code for different AI
• Develop prototype to demonstrate model capabilities, advanced usage patterns.
• Fine-tune smaller models for benchmarking on specific domains and evaluation.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to bring potential work to the platform.
