The Role
Key Responsibilities :
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new customers, distributors, and channel partners in Bangalore and other key regions.
- Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth for Thomas & Betts products.
- Generate leads, conduct cold calls, and follow up on inquiries to convert potential customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, electrical contractors, panel builders, and industries using cable management solutions.
2. Technical Consultation & Product Support
Provide technical expertise and recommend suitable products based on customer needs.Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for clients.Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical components to advise customers effectively.3. Customer Relationship Management
Address customer inquiries, provide pre-sales and post-sales support, and resolve issues promptly.Maintain regular interaction with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and project managers.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.4. Coordination & Order Management
Work closely with internal teams for pricing, quotations, order processing, and delivery coordination.Ensure timely follow-ups on quotations, tenders, and project bids.Track and report on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.5. Travel & Market Expansion
Travel within the assigned territory (Bangalore and nearby regions) to visit customers, attend meetings, and participate in trade shows.Explore new business opportunities and expand the company presence in untapped markets.6. Reporting & Strategy Contribution
Provide regular reports on sales performance, competitor activities, and market insights.Contribute to sales strategies by identifying potential growth areas and customer needs.Suggest improvements for marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and product positioning.Contact hr@pankajelectricals.com
