DEPARTMENT : Sales

PRIMARY LOCATION : Bangalore

JOB SUMMARY :

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to drive sponsorship sales and partnerships in the sports and entertainment. The role focuses on concept selling, building innovative solutions for clients, and delivering measurable results. The person should be highly motivated to create, identify, cultivate, and secure sponsorship deals for events, an initiative.

The role requires strong relationship building skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to tailor sponsorship packages that align with potential sponsors' business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Concept Selling & Sponsorship Sales Development :

  • Day to day work on strategic partnerships for key businesses, driving measurable and sustainable results.
  • Contributing towards developing the market & implementing strategies for getting sponsorship for our teams and IP’s
  • Taking charge on proactive client communications, in particular status meetings, partner management, project management, and pro-actively contribute to the team
  • Prospecting and researching new brands and analysing sales opportunities
  • Being responsible for all areas of event sponsorship sales process, including research, creating pipelines and databases, closing deals and negotiating with prospects
  • Develop and pitch tailored sponsorship concepts aligned with client objectives.
  • Secure high-value sponsorships for events, IPs, and activations.

Strategic Business Development and Advisory

  • A robust client list and connect in sports and entertainment.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and industry network.
  • Translate client briefs into creative and revenue-generating ideas by working on development of all strategic deliverables (presentations, memos, etc.) to advise concerned partners on recommendations
  • Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to apply measurement framework, track key metrics, analyse results, and present findings to the management
  • Using forward thinking initiative to identify the next best strategic opportunities and continue to deliver top results
  • New Business / Projects :

  • Assisting with new business pitches as arise throughout the year, including contribution to international pitches / presentations of various projects
  • Understanding the constantly evolving landscape, and effectively communicating all offerings to clients and prospects
  • Relationship Management

  • Managing client and partner relationships to ensure the client is fully leveraging all benefits and assets
  • Servicing the sponsors throughout the partnership and delivering the obligations as per the committed deliverables
  • Developing and cultivating relationships with clients, partners, as well as agency teams and third parties
  • Event Execution

  • Oversee the activation of sponsorship deliverables, ensuring flawless execution.
  • PREFERRED SKILLS :

  • Expertise in concept selling and sponsorship acquisition.
  • Strong strategic thinking and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
