Our client, a leading bank in the UAE, is looking for a Technology Engineer - Digital Branches to drive innovation and implement cutting-edge digital banking solutions. This role will play a key part in transforming branch infrastructure, enhancing customer experience, and managing advanced banking technologies .
Experience Required :
- 5+ years of experience in setting up branch IT infrastructure
- 3+ years in a banking operational environment or equivalent
- 4+ years of expertise in ITIL Service Management processes (Change & Release Management)

Key Responsibilities
Branch Technology Implementation & Management
Plan, coordinate, and execute branch / office setups and renovationsInstall, configure, operate, and maintain audio / visual (AV) systems and IT infrastructureManage and optimize branch solutions, building management systems, and network serversResearch, evaluate, and deploy emerging technologies to enhance customer engagementIT Infrastructure & System Administration
Manage Windows / Linux servers, network infrastructure (LAN / WAN), and databasesEnsure system reliability, security, and efficiency across digital branchesAutomate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Python and PerlMonitor IT systems and provide proactive maintenance and troubleshootingProject Management & Collaboration
Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to deliver key projectsEnsure that technology projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business goalsMaintain project documentation, provide regular updates, and track performance metricsWork closely with stakeholders to identify new opportunities for branch technology enhancementsStakeholder & Vendor Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendorsWork with telecom providers to ensure seamless connectivity for digital branchesEnsure compliance with industry best practices and internal IT policiesKey Requirements
Technical Expertise
Strong background in IT Infrastructure ManagementExperience with Windows / Linux servers, network administration (LAN / WAN), and database managementHands-on experience with branch technology – Video Walls, Smart Projectors, HoloLens, Robotics, Kiosks, Media Players, Access Control Systems, Biometric SecurityAbility to develop automation scripts in Python, Perl, or similar languagesUnderstanding of ITIL Service Management (Change & Release Management)Strong knowledge of audio-visual technology for digital banking branchesProject & Budget Management
Experience in budget planning, time management, and cost analysisAbility to track, report, and optimize project deliverablesExperience in vendor negotiations and contract managementSoft Skills & Leadership Qualities
