Position Overview

The Mechanical Engineer will design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems, equipment, and processes that support the organization’s production, quality, and cost objectives. The role demands strong analytical skills, hands-on problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D / 3D models, detailed drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Inventor).
• Perform FEA / CFD simulations to validate designs for strength, thermal load, and manufacturability.
• Generate technical specifications for new machinery, tooling, and fixtures.
• Lead or support end-to-end project lifecycle : concept, cost estimation, scheduling, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timeline targets.
• Analyze chronic equipment failures, perform root-cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans, including spare-parts strategies.

Drive Lean / Six-Sigma initiatives to reduce cycle time, energy usage, and waste.

Essential Qualifications

Technical Skills (Must-Have)

Proficiency in CAD / CAE tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, ANSYS).

Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and machining processes.

Familiarity with FEA / CFD, fatigue analysis, and material selection.

Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment.

Working knowledge of PLC / SCADA interfaces for mechanical systems.

Competence in MS Office, MS Project / Primavera for scheduling and reporting.

Requirements

Strong technical knowledge in dental equipment installation, repair, and maintenance. Proficiency in handling and repairing a wide range of dental products including dental engines, physio units, dental implant handpieces, and motors. Expertise in Dental CBCT (X-ray) systems and ability to troubleshoot issues. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and provide technical support.
