Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

• Define and drive the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for our DevOps practices, tools, and infrastructure.
• Architect highly scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective cloud-native solutions and infrastructure.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance our DevOps capabilities.
• Lead the design and implementation of complex, enterprise-level CI / CD pipelines, ensuring rapid, reliable, and secure software deployments.
• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive IaC solutions (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) for provisioning and managing infrastructure across multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Drive extensive automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet), deployment, and operational tasks.
• Develop advanced scripting and automation solutions using languages like Python, Go, Ruby, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Design, build, and maintain advanced CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, or CircleCI.
• Implement robust release strategies, including blue / green deployments, canary releases, and rolling updates, to minimize downtime and risk.
• Manage and optimize artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus, Artifactory).
• Deep expertise in containerization technologies (Docker) and advanced orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, AKS, EKS, GKE).
• Lead the adoption and optimization of Kubernetes clusters, including custom resource definitions (CRDs), operators, and service mesh solutions (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
• Establish and mature comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Splunk, Datadog, or New Relic.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Collaborate extensively with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline workflows and foster a unified culture.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level DevOps engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance on complex architectural and operational challenges.
• Continuously analyze and optimize infrastructure and application performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives across cloud resources without compromising performance or reliability.
• Expertise in Git and advanced Git workflows (GitFlow, Trunk-Based Development).
• Implement and enforce code quality standards and review :
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a closely related role, with a proven track record of leading complex initiatives.
• Demonstrable expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP); multi-cloud experience highly preferred.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell).
• Extensive experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• In-depth knowledge of CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, Azure DevOps).
• Deep practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Proven experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and their operational considerations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex distributed system issues.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum (Bonus) Skills :
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
• Familiarity with event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR).
• Experience with chaos engineering principles and tools.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
