Position Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to spearhead Marketing, Strategic Planning, and Internal Communications for the Microscopy Division in India. This role will shape our market positioning, drive brand visibility, activate our Go-to-Market strategy, and energize internal and external stakeholders across channels. The ideal candidate brings a blend of analytical thinking, creativity, execution excellence, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Marketing & Business Planning
- Lead the development and execution of the annual marketing strategy, integrated with business goals and sales objectives.
- Develop and implement Go-To-Market plans, campaigns, and commercial activation aligned with target customer segments and verticals.
- Conduct detailed market research and intelligence : market sizing, segmentation, growth opportunities, competitive landscape, and white space mapping.
- Design and track sales enablement programs and campaigns, including customer-centric messaging and incentive-based growth acceleration.
- Drive KOL (Key Opinion Leader) and influencer engagement to build scientific credibility and thought leadership.
Brand, Events, and External Marketing
Oversee brand positioning and marketing communications through online and offline channels.Plan, budget, and execute national and regional events such as exhibitions, conferences, roadshows, workshops, and scientific seminars.Lead all aspects of SoMe (social media) and digital presence using tools such as Marketo and similar platforms.Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams to adapt and localize content and initiatives for the India market. Internal Communications & Team EngagementCurate and publish newsletters, periodic business updates, and communications to engage the sales, application, and back-office teams.Develop and manage employee incentive programs, spot awards, recognition mechanisms, and internal storytelling initiatives.Plan and execute internal events such as kick-offs, town halls, quarterly reviews, and performance celebrations to foster a unified and inspired team culture. Business Analytics & ReportingPartner with business and finance teams to create monthly dashboards, funnel reports, performance tracking tools, and business reporting presentations for leadership.Provide actionable insights to drive informed business decisions, align strategic marketing with sales forecasts and revenue targets. Marketing Operations & Budget ManagementOwn and manage the annual marketing budget, vendor contracts, and cost control while ensuring ROI on all campaigns and events.Drive operational excellence through marketing automation tools, lead nurturing frameworks, and customer engagement metrics.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

MBA / PGDM in Marketing or Strategy; degree in science or engineering is a plus10+ years of experience in marketing strategy, ideally in B2B / tech / life sciencesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong leadership and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience in using MarTech tools (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, analytics platforms)A passion for storytelling, data-driven decision-making, and high-impact executionZEISS in India
