Site Reliability Engineer II

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable systems within a Linux / Unix environment.
• Implement and manage cloud services on Linux platforms using KVM / QEMU, ensuring efficient virtualization and resource utilization.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the reliability and availability of our fintech infrastructure.
• Work with and support container orchestration technologies, contributing to the deployment and management of containerized applications.
• Manage and optimize NoSQL databases, particularly Aerospike, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Perl and Golang to streamline operations and improve system efficiency.
• Possess a strong understanding of Galera cluster operations for highly available database solutions.
• Engage in data center-related activities, including hardware deployment, network cabling, and physical infrastructure maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to implement robust solutions and maintain system health.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement, propose solutions, and contribute to the continuous evolution of our Skills & Qualifications :
• Solid foundation in Linux / Unix administration and networking.
• Experience with implementing cloud services on Linux using KVM / QEMU.
• Familiarity with container orchestration technology (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, with a strong emphasis on Aerospike.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, specifically Perl and Golang.
• Understanding of Galera cluster operations.
• Experience with data center-related activities.
• Strong understanding of open source technologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
