Job description

Mandatory Skills :

Extensive experience (6+ years) in software development with a strong focus on C# and the .NET framework.
Proven and demonstrable hands-on experience with .NET 6 or .NET 8.
Significant and successful experience in migrating applications from ASP.NET MVC 4.x to modern .NET versions (6 or 8).
Expert-level proficiency in SQL and T-SQL development, including designing and optimizing database schemas and writing complex queries.
Hands-on experience with Docker for containerizing applications.
Experience with Azure Container Registry (ACR) for managing Docker images.
Solid understanding and practical experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration and deployment.

Responsibilities :

Lead and participate in the migration of existing ASP.NET MVC 4.x applications to .NET 6 or .NET 8.

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications and APIs using C# and .NET.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including schema design, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

Implement and manage containerization of applications using Docker.

Deploy and manage applications using Azure Container Registry and Azure Kubernetes Service.

Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to integrate backend services.

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in .NET development and cloud technologies.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Potentially mentor and provide guidance to junior developers.

Good to Have :

Familiarity with .NET UI component libraries such as DevExpress, Telerik, Infragistics, or Kendo UI.
