Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP PP / QM Consultant to join our growing SAP practice. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules, with strong integration knowledge and a proven track record of successful project implementations, rollouts, and support engagements.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP PP (Production Planning) :

Analyze business requirements related to production planning and convert them into SAP solutions.
Configure and customize SAP PP module including MRP, Demand Management, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control, Work Center, Routing, BOM, Production Orders.
Work on Master Data setup : Material Master, Work Centers, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Routing.
Handle MRP runs, production scheduling, and shop floor control processes.
Provide support for discrete, repetitive, and process manufacturing scenarios.
Coordinate with the business and technical teams for enhancements, testing, and deployment.

SAP QM (Quality Management) :

Configure and support processes related to inspection planning, results recording, and usage decision.

Handle quality notifications, audit management, and quality certificates.

Integrate QM with PP, MM, and PM modules.

Design quality control processes that align with manufacturing and procurement strategies.

Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards (ISO, GMP, etc.).

General Responsibilities :

Perform end-to-end implementation, rollout, and support activities.

Gather business requirements, conduct GAP analysis, and prepare functional specifications.

Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, Basis) for development, enhancements, and troubleshooting.

Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT.

Provide training and documentation to business users.

Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables and support tickets within defined SLAs.

Required Skills :

Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM modules.

Strong experience in SAP ECC; exposure to SAP S / 4HANA is a plus.

Deep functional knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.

Experience in data migration, cutover planning, and go-live support.

Good understanding of integration points with MM, SD, PM, and WM modules.

Ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive business process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent.

SAP certification in PP and / or QM is an added advantage.

Experience in process industry (Pharma, Chemical, FMCG, Automotive, etc.) is beneficial.

Exposure to tools like SAP Fiori, Solution Manager, and Jira is a plus.
