Job Title : Functional QA Tester

Primary Skill : Manual Testing

Location : Hyderabad

Experience : 4.00

Responsibilities :

  • Extensive hands-on experience with P&C processes, products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans with the functional test design & execution approach.
  • Develop test cases based on business requirements and system specifications.
  • Execute test cases and scenarios, ensuring thorough testing coverage.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure accurate testing.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to drive efficient testing processes and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Identify and escalate issues and risks, working closely with project managers and stakeholders to resolve them in a timely manner.

Requirements : Must Have :

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on testing software applications in the Property & Casualty insurance industry, particularly in Personal Lines.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Solid knowledge of test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, ADO, Rally or similar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with keen diligence.
  • Experience working in Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

  • Any Automation tools like Selenium / UFT with hands on experience
