AuxoAI is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer (Lead) with strong AWS administration expertise to architect and manage cloud infrastructure while contributing to data engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, and data platform integrations. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on implementation to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Define, implement, and manage scalable platform architecture aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Lead AWS infrastructure design and operations including IAM, VPC, networking, security, and cost optimization.
  • Design and optimize cloud-based storage, compute resources, and orchestration workflows to support data platforms.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers and DevOps teams to streamline deployment of data pipelines and infrastructure components.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Integrate platform capabilities with internal tools, analytics platforms, and business applications.
  • Establish cloud engineering best practices including infrastructure security, reliability, and observability.
  • Provide technical mentorship to engineering team members and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement solutions for reliability and scalability.
  • Drive best practices in cloud engineering, security, and infrastructure as code :
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure

roles.

  • Expertise in AWS core services (IAM, EC2, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.) and managing secure, scalable environments.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, pipelines, and workflow orchestration in cloud-native environments.
  • Experience integrating infrastructure with CI / CD tools and workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices, access management, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across cloud and data systems.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
