In line with our expansion, we are in search of a "DevOps Quality Engineer" who can contribute effectively with our developing team. Synedyne has been in the forefront of product development in Sensing, Control, Connectivity and Intelligence products in India.
Responsibilities :
ASPICE Process Implementation & Maturity :
- Lead the creation, implementation, and refinement of ASPICE-compliant processes for both Software (SWE.1–SWE.6) and System (SYS.1–SYS.5) engineering domains.
- Conduct internal process audits and provide coaching / training sessions to development and validation teams to ensure adherence to ASPICE v3.1 base practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify process gaps and define corrective actions for continuous improvement toward ASPICE Level 2 and above.
Software Release Planning & Stakeholder Approvals :
Coordinate and manage the software release cycle, ensuring all releases are aligned with project milestones and quality gates.Prepare and circulate release approval documents, ensuring sign-off from relevant stakeholders (Project Management, QA, Validation, etc.).Establish and enforce release control mechanisms, including version control policies, checklists, and traceability matrices.Tool Management for SW and System Development :
Evaluate, procure, and maintain software lifecycle tools (e.g., requirement management, version control, CI / CD, static analysis) in collaboration with third-party vendors.Ensure tool integration aligns with ASPICE and ISO 26262 workflows and supports traceability, configuration management, and documentation.ISO 26262 Functional Safety Process Enablement :
Define and document safety processes in line with ISO 26262 (Parts 2, 4, 5, 6) with a focus on Software and System Safety Lifecycle.Provide coaching sessions to cross-functional teams (Software, Hardware, Validation) to ensure awareness and compliance with ASIL (A to D) requirements.Support safety case development and safety work product reviews in conjunction with the safety manager.Quality Framework Exploration and Adoption :
Continuously explore and study evolving standards such as TISAX (Information Security), ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity), and IATF 16949, aligning them with organizational goals.Conduct benchmarking and feasibility analysis for incorporating new frameworks and contribute to defining future compliance roadmaps.Qualification :
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience :
Minimum 3 to 6 years of Tier 1 Automotive experience relevant to Systems Testing.
Experience with ASPICE 4.0 and ISO 26262 process frameworks, software development lifecycle in embedded automotive environments
Essential Skills :
Strong understanding of ASPICE, ISO 26262, and V-model based development.Experience in software quality assurance, process audits, and release management.Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Polariton, Git, Jenkins, or similar ALM suites.Excellent documentation and communication skills.Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working across functional boundaries.For further queries write to us at career@synedynesystems.com
