About the Role :
We are seeking a driven and strategic Assistant Manager - Digital Sales to help expand our digital footprint and revenue by acquiring new clients and nurturing existing accounts.
This role will focus on consultative digital advertising sales, including media planning, performance campaigns, programmatic solutions, influencer marketing, and full-funnel digital strategies.
You will act as the point of contact between clients and internal execution teams, ensuring that campaign objectives are understood, met, and exceeded.
This position requires a proactive attitude, strong commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including performance marketing, branded content, and media planning.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement GTM strategies to identify and capture new revenue opportunities across industries (e., eCommerce, BFSI, FMCG, Retail, Auto, etc.
- Research and qualify prospective clients; reach out via email, LinkedIn, networking events, and cold calling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs and positioning tailored digital solutions.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to ensure client satisfaction and uncover upsell / cross-sell opportunities.
- Work closely with clients to develop customized media strategies, including performance marketing (Google, Meta), programmatic buys, affiliate marketing, and native advertising.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations, proposals, media kits, and performance reports.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders (campaign managers, creatives, ad ops, data analysts) to ensure campaign goals are met.
- Track sales pipeline, forecast revenues, and report activity metrics to sales leadership.
- Act as a bridge between clients and execution teams to ensure accurate and timely campaign delivery.
- Review performance metrics, troubleshoot issues, and ensure client KPIs (CPA, CTR, ROAS, etc.) are being optimized.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.3-4 years of proven experience in digital ad sales, media sales, or agency account management.Strong knowledge of digital platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, Programmatic (DV360, Trade Desk), influencer platforms, and analytics tools.Ability to craft and deliver compelling sales pitches tailored to client industries and objectives.Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g , HubSpot, Salesforce) and basic Excel / Google Sheets for reportingref : iimjobs.com)
