Job description58 years of hands-on experience in managing Oracle RAC, OGG, PostgreSQL, SQL Server in production environments. SQL tuning, index optimization, plan management expertise. Shell scripting and Linux operating system administration. Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms. Experience with clustering, replication, disaster recovery, and high availability. Strong understanding of infrastructure components : servers, virtualization (VMware), load balancers, firewalls, SAN storage, AD / LDAP, and cloud services (OCI). Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat. Exposure to Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Oracle BI, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Background in ETL processes and data warehousing. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Good communication, time management, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and across time zones. Willingness to provide on-call / off-hours support during outages and planned maintenance. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.

About the Role :
We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to join our Global Infrastructure Operations team. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in enterprise databases who can lead database solutions, ensure performance optimization, and manage high-availability architecture across on-prem and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead implementation, automation, and optimization of database technologies (Oracle RAC, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) in on-prem and public cloud environments.
- Design and manage Oracle GoldenGate (OGG) solutions for real-time data replication (CDC).
- Maintain database integrity, performance, clustering, redundancy, and DR plans.
- Serve as SME and L3 escalation point for DB issues across Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres.
- Collaborate with application developers, infra teams, and external vendors on mission-critical projects.
- Define and enforce standards for database installation, maintenance, upgrades, and tuning.
- Provide documentation and cross-training for team members.
