Backend Developer - Guidewire Digital Portal

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop backend services and APIs for Guidewire Digital Customer Engagement Portals.
• Implement ReactJS-based frontend components for custom workflows.
• Integrate with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter APIs.
• Ensure proper authentication, authorization, and session management.
• Optimize performance of web applications for various platforms.
• Debug and resolve API issues, UI bugs, and integration failures.
• Participate in design reviews and propose scalable technical solutions.
• Support continuous deployment and testing activities.
• Maintain codebase and documentation for backend / frontend layers.
• Adhere to security, accessibility, and data privacy :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with ReactJS and backend development.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Java, or Spring Boot for backend API services.
• Experience with Guidewire Digital Portals and REST integrations.
• Good understanding of OAuth, SAML, and JWT authentication.
• Strong UI / UX development skills using HTML, CSS, Redux.
• Experience in DevOps CI / CD pipelines and containerized deployment.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and version control systems.
• Good problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
