Purpose
The HR Operations lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our staff. The individual will be responsible to work with Unit HR Operations team, recruiters, compliance teams, and other business stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate HR Operations.
This is an individual contributor role. As part of the Corporate HR Team, the incumbent will be responsible to
1) Support unit / business HR Operations teams
2) Ability to independently execute HR Operations directly for assigned teams / new businesses.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the HR Operations team to ensure efficient HR service delivery
- As the central custodian of staff data, the incumbent will be responsible for managing staff data
- Oversee payroll administration – coordinating payroll inputs and drive strong controls to ensure 100% accurate payroll delivery
- Support benefits administration (leave, insurance, others)
- Understanding and ability to own compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations – NPS, PF, ESI, Gratuity, LWF, PT, others
- Own HRIS and other HR-related systems as an owner of HR KPI concerning accuracy of data and exactness of payroll
- Address employee queries on HR processes, benefits administration, attendance, leave, payslips, etc
Skills
Proven experience as an HR generalist in a multi-location set up and Company-size of 5,000 plus staffSound understanding of HR policies and their inter-linkages with processesExperience with SAP and other HR applications; excellent command over excelBehaviours
Ability to multitask and maintain efficiency and quality in a dynamic environment with changing prioritiesEnjoys working in a team and has the ability to influence without authorityAttention to detail and manage a volume of transactions on day-to-day basisMust be able to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality in handling HR matters and bringing things to closure
