About the Position

Identify companies for investment by analyzing databases, research their business, financials and media needs; focus to get larger deals in marquee companies

Areas of Responsibility

  • Incumbent will be responsible for preparing term-sheets, initial deal document, due diligence, negotiating legal agreements and monitoring deals
  • Ensuring compliance with pre & post-investment statutory requirements
  • Monitoring media spends of portfolio companies and engaging with them to enhance spends
  • Client Management : Maintain relationship with key position holders of existing and prospective clients and maintain rapport with internal departments like Response, Legal and Brand Communication; hence incumbent is expected to have strong interpersonal and business development skills
  • Extensive involvement in consumer branding and investing space; identifying businesses and working with entrepreneurs to partner, invest, build, operate and exit consumer businesses
  • Any other portfolio company-related tasks as necessary to enhance the value of the company for exit

Educational Qualifications Required

  • CA / CFA / MBA from top B-schools
  • Relevant Experience

  • Ideal candidate is an individual with experience in Investment Banking, VC / PE or Consulting who wants deep entrepreneurial experience
  • A creative person, an out of box thinker, who can come up with new investment ideas and avenues for business expansion
  • 10-12 years of relevant experience in various aspects of deal making including sourcing, execution, negotiating agreements, diligence, valuation, structuring etc.
