Job Summary :
The Soft Skills Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering soft skills training programs to enhance employees' interpersonal, communication, leadership, and professional skills. The trainer will work closely with the L&D, HR team and business functions to identify skill gaps and implement training solutions that improve overall employee performance and workplace culture.
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in HR, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Certification in Soft Skills Training, NLP, Train-the-Trainer (TTT), or Coaching (preferred).
- 5-8 years of experience in corporate training or L&D roles.
Key Skills & Competencies :
Strong facilitation and presentation skills.Excellent verbal & written communication skills.Expertise in leadership, communication, and behavioral training.Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.Experience in e-learning platforms and digital training tools.Ability to engage and motivate diverse employee groups.Key Responsibilities (KRA Document)
Training Program Development & Delivery
Design and develop engaging soft skills training programs tailored to the business needs.Deliver interactive training sessions on communication, leadership, time management, emotional intelligence, teamwork, and business etiquette.Conduct in-person, virtual, and e-learning training sessions as per business requirements.Use role-plays, case studies, and group activities to enhance learning experiences.Conduct webinars and online coaching sessions for remote teams.Training Needs Assessment
Collaborate with the L&D team and department heads to assess employees' training needs.Conduct pre-training and post-training assessments to measure effectiveness.Identify skill gaps and recommend suitable learning interventions.Training Content Development
Create customized training modules, workbooks, e-learning materials, and presentations.Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into training content.Utilize innovative training methodologies to make sessions engaging and impactful.Introduce microlearning, gamification, and blended learning approaches for training.Evaluation & Feedback Management
Collect and analyse participant feedback to measure training effectiveness.Prepare training reports and suggest improvements for future sessions.Stakeholder Collaboration & Engagement
Work closely with L&D Team, department heads, and senior management to align training with business goals.Compliance & Documentation
