Alumni Communications Coordinator

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Alumni Communications Coordinator to join Alumni and Engagement, Engagement, Chancellery Division.

The Alumni and Engagement Office within the Engagement Portfolio is seeking an Alumni Communications Coordinator to drive the communications strategy for QUT's Alumni program. The role is responsible for working with internal stakeholders to create, curate, and publish relevant, high-quality content for alumni-related publications and activities. This includes, but is not limited to, eDMs and newsletters, alumni profiles, alumni website management, Outstanding Alumni Awards communications and overall alumni branding and awareness.

What you need to succeed

• Education, training and / or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a degree in communications, marketing, media, or a related discipline, in conjunction with at least four years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in creating and coordinating communications plans and projects and interpreting data to identify opportunities to showcase and encourage alumni / other connections through a wide range of platforms.
• Highly developed communication skills including the ability to write effectively and persuasively for a wide range of audiences.
• High level interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in relationship management and being agile and responsive to internal and external stakeholder needs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment as part of a high performing team and provide excellence in service provision.
• Demonstrated experience in the use of marketing and creative platforms / software and customer relations databases, including Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud (or similar), SharePoint and Adobe applications such as Photoshop
