Geologist (Explosion Work) - Mining

Job Summary :

We are seeking a qualified Geologist with experience in explosion-related work to support controlled blasting operations, site analysis, and geological assessments. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe, effective, and compliant blasting practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct geological surveys and analyze rock / soil formations at blast sites.
• Plan, assess, and supervise controlled explosion activities.
• Collaborate with drilling and blasting teams to optimize blast design.
• Monitor blast results and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepare geological and blast reports, risk assessments, and technical documentation.
• Use geological software and GIS tools for data interpretation and mapping.
• Coordinate with government authorities for necessary permits and compliance.
