Education Qualification : B.E. Computers and MCA / M.B.A
Experience required : 12 + years of IT experience with leadership role in Manufacturing / Engineering / Automotive / Aerospace Industry
Technical & Professional Knowledge required :
- Strong business acumen with manufacturing driven business
- Understanding of IT ecosystem
- Understand the Business model & offer appropriate IT solutions catering to Business
- Experience of managing SAP environment (for handling key challenges in ERP environment)
- Experience in handling IT Governance & PMO for entire enterprise leading to Project Control and ROI
Purpose :
The role holder will be responsible for driving technology initiatives at Engineering Group across Business Applications, ERP, Analytics, Manufacturing Applications & Infrastructure domains. The role holder will also be responsible for providing strategic direction, implementation & support of all IT technology standard along with Technology / Product developments and providing support to the SBUs & functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
IT Strategy and Planning
Lead and define direction, vision and strategy for Information Systems in Engineering Business. As strategist, maximize the value delivered across all IT investments.Must be able to engage as a credible partner, advising the business on how technology can enhance existing business capabilities or provide new ones.Also keep the business appraised of distinctive IT capabilities that can drive revenue, create new opportunities, or mitigate and navigate risks.IT Infrastructure and Systems Management
Responsible for providing a technical architecture that increases business agility by managing complexity, supports highly efficient operations (to keep costs low) and is flexible and extendable enough to meet future business needs.Must continually scan the horizon for new technologies, rigorously analyze and test those with promise and then select the ones most apt to achieve enterprise architecture objectives (efficiency, agility, simplification, and innovation).Adopt industry standards and current leading practices to craft a future-state application portfolio that mapped to the needs of the enterpriseCybersecurity and Risk Management
Responsible for Infrastructure Management in coordination with Group Corporate IT Team.Ensure Infrastructure reliability, network & cloud security protocol implementation and availability for efficient business operations.Focus on Business cost optimisation, standardisation, digitalisation to reap economies of scale and sharpened customer focusDigital Transformation and Innovation
Lead business transformations with effective Program, People and Partner management in the areas of S / 4 HANA, IoT Applications, Logistics automation, Analytics, CRM, etc.Propagate innovations that lead to new products or services; delivering IT capabilities in radically new ways; or significantly improving operations in IT and beyond.Act as a catalyst to align executive stakeholders with relentless focus on disruptive innovation and cross-functional teaming to lead transformational change in IT and the business at largeIT Governance
Responsible for ITGC audits, SODs, conflicting roles identification & correction as per business guidelines and IT policy for segregation of duties.Oversees the reliable day-to-day delivery of IT services, applications, and data. Manage the department, and hire, develop, and lead IT resources. Institute service level agreements with internal customers and ensure performance targets for IT services are achieved.Maintain transparent IT cost models for IT services.
