The Automotive Systems and Solutions Technology Team is at the forefront of developing technologies for next-generation automotive architectures. We have an opportunity for a highly motivated Communications Systems Architect to define and execute a networking technology roadmap, including proprietary and standards-based communications protocols, and to define and prototype networking system solutions targeted for in-vehicle communications. In this challenging role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of technology areas and applications.

The Role

• Collaborate with the business and technical development teams to define technology roadmaps for ADI’s automotive networking products.
• Work with FPGA designers to develop prototypes of networking functions / products.
• Lead design of new protocols for audio, video and data transport, and solutions for converting between different protocols.
• Model performance of in-vehicle communications networks, including Quality of Service and clock recovery.
• Support ADI standards engagement by participating in and making technical contributions to standards-development organizations.
